| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | March 2019 | 13 Emergency preparedness committee On Mon., Mar 25, 10 am to noon, the Four Seasons Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will conduct a disaster simulation exercise. We need your help so we can practice coming to your aid in a real disaster. We ask all the residents of Four Seasons to participate by placing their green "OK" sign in the front window. We will remind you with an email blast on March 22 . If you don't have your sign, go to https://fscert.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Scan_0022. pdf and print one out. Alternatively, contact Sue Malarkey at (951) 223-3056. Some residents will be asked to display the red "HELP NEEDED" sign and given an envelope that contains the symptoms of an imaginary victim that they give to the CERT Street Captain who comes to the door. This will test our ability to properly triage. There will be additional exercise in 'fire ember suppression' at a home in Four Seasons. Those residents who participate by displaying the sign will be entered into a drawing for a prize to be awarded on Thurs., Mar. 28, at the Emergency Preparedness Luncheon and raffle at noon. Please see the display ad below for details and make sure you mark your calendar — as we hope everyone will attend. Additionally, we hope you would consider joining Four Seasons CERT as a Street Captain or Auxiliary (disaster-day only) volunteer. For more information visit https://fscert.org/cert-volunteer. Light lunch by Francisco available for purchase Another month has passed us by, and rather quickly. Your Architectural Review Committee has been hard at work overseeing our community and keeping check to insure that our community remains one that is sought after as one of the most desirable and prestigious developments in this region of 55+ communities. To that end, many residents have offered their time and talents to insure that the goals of the HOA, the Board of Directors, along with all of the other committees, help keep this community financially healthy and beautiful for all residents to enjoy. It is my pleasure to introduce myself as the newest member of the ARC. My name is Gary S. Fell. I transplanted back to California in 2018 after a short stay in Arizona. Family and friends brought me back to California, and as a long time realtor, I found a lovely home in the Four Seasons complex. I am a retired law enforcement officer from southern CA, a retired investigator for the Contractors Board and a licensed private investigator. Along this journey of mine, I became a widower, and then eventually divorced. I have three grown children, three grandchildren and recently became a great-grandfather at the young age of 69. I am looking forward to working with the ARC committee, the HOA and the Board of Directors, to continue to preserve this community as one of the finest places to live in southern CA. I want to thank the ARC and the Board of Directors for allowing me the opportunity to assist them in upholding our values in keeping this community as wonderful as it is. Let's all lend a hand and help this committee, as well as all the other entities in our community, to make 2019 a beautiful and prosperous one. Have any questions for me? I will gladly offer any assistance I can. Architectural Review Committee Four Seasons Emergency Preparedness Raffle & Luncheon
