SPRING GARAGE SALES Start cleaning out those garages for our Spring Garage Sales in May.
Sales are 8am – 4pm. Residents are asked to have any remaining items that did not sell back into
their homes after the garage sale. Dates and district participation is as follows: May 4: Dists. 2,
3, 5, 7, 16, 17; May 11: Dists. 1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13; May 18: Dists. 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23.
MERIDIAN GUIDED TOURS PRESENTATION
Wed., April 3, 10:30 am, Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Sun Lakes' favorite
travel guy Matt Jaeckel is back with a whole new project. He has started
his own travel company - Meridian Guided Travel. He will present
two trips for 2019 - Mt. Rushmore and the Black Hills, which features
four nights in Deadwood, South Dakota and sightseeing including Mt.
Rushmore, the Crazy Horse Memorial, the 1880 Steam Train, a Buffalo Jeep
Safari and much more. Matt will also be presenting Cowboy Christmas,
which features Dallas, Austin and San Antonio decked out for the
holidays and includes the George W. Bush Presidential Library, the Sixth
Floor Museum (about the assassination of John F. Kennedy), the Silos &
Magnolia Market, the Alamo, the San Antonio Riverwalk and much more.
Matt will also offer a short preview of several 2020 trips, which include
Dublin and Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way, Coastal New England, American
Heritage (featuring Washington DC and Williamsburg) and Thanksgiving
in New York City. Cookies and coffee will be provided.
