6 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | April 2019 | April showers bring May flowers…. I don't know if we can take much more rain, but I sure do enjoy the green and wild flowers. If you see any great spreads of wild flowers, be sure to take a picture and send it to me. I receive a lot of photos from residents that CAN NOT be used because they are too low of resolution. Here is what you need to know to produce a cover-worthy photo for the Herald, especially if you are using your smartphone. The final photo should be 4 MB to 10MB (if it is over 15MB, you won't be able to email it on most programs). If you have a 7 megapixel camera or higher, you should set the camera on High Res or High Quality photo. If your phone is over three years old, it probably will not have the capability to take high res photos--sorry. I have scheduled some very interesting "Senior Enrichment Classes" for the next couple of months. There is a flier in the lobby that you should pick up and mark your calendar so you don't miss out. Other than the driving course which has a small fee, all the other classes are free. Save the Date for April 27, from 8 am to 12 noon, for ONSITE SHREDDING again this year. What should you shred? Anything with personal information that you do not want getting out to the general public. FYI, if you get magazines and don't want your name and address out there, just rip off the cover with the address label for your shred box. You do not need to shred the whole magazine. The rest of the magazine can go into your recycle bin for regular collection. I am trying to schedule electronics recycle as well, but not having a lot of luck as yet. Keep your eyes in the email blasts for more information. See you around the Lodge! A Note From Your Activities Director By Louise Ceccarelli
