FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2019 35 Our March meeting was well attended. The guest speaker was Sergeant Chris Ramos of the Beaumont Police Department. He discussed golf cart laws applicable in Beaumont, and bicycle safety including use of helmets for children visiting at Four Seasons. There was an extensive question and answer period after the presentation. A special thank you to all our residents for donating $1,700 for the Police Department's Mila fundraising project. The money was collected by selling Mila stuffed animals, coins, and cups. A check was presented to the city of Beaumont at a city council meeting by Neighborhood Watch Steering Committee members Mike Corbett, Felicia Hamid, and Chair Anita Worthen. Remember to stop your newspaper or make arrangements to have a neighbor pick up the paper every day. Lock your windows and doors to your residence, and, if possible, leave your vehicle in the garage so it is not seen as not being moved for a long period of time. Remember, if you see something suspicious, please contact the Beaumont Police Department to report the incident, and also call The Lodge to make a report. Do not confront anyone, but if you see something, say something. Thank you again to all our Neighborhood Watch Block Captains and our resident members of Neighborhood Watch for your efforts to keep our community safe. ~ Jerry Monahan, (951) 212-8898 It's hard to believe, but the 2019 Amphitheater season is just around the corner. Our May thru September concert series will be another great one with music from Motown to Billy Joel, 60s rock, country, and The Who playing the same night as Woodstock happened 50 years ago. We hope everyone will come on out to the Amphitheater on Sunday nights to enjoy some great entertainment. There will be articles each month in the Breeze highlighting the bands that will be performing. The concerts are from 7 to 8:30 pm. Chairs can be set up in the Amphitheater after 10 am on Sunday morning of the concert. Feel free to bring refreshments and have a "rocking good time." ~ Mark Lassen Neighborhood Watch Amphitheater Officer Brieda and his K-9 partner Mila Photo by Eric Zarr
