18 SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | APRIL 2019 April Saturday, April 13 • 7 am - 1 pm SDV Garage Sales Permit required from city of Hemet with $10 processing fee. Start cleaning out those garages! All residents participating in the garage sale may pick up a garage sale permit form at the front desk. The form must be filled out and turned in to the city of Hemet Code Enforcement Office along with a $10 processing fee. We also ask that you turn in a signed copy of the form to the front desk so your house is listed on the garage sale site. This year we will not have a mass drop off of items at the Lodge, instead we ask that you contact Angel View and schedule a delivery for pickup. If scheduled in advance Angel View will pick up your donated items the day of the event from your home. Here is their number (866) 670-8666. Monday, April 15 • 1 pm • Lodge Ballroom • Aging with awareness Sunday, April 7 • 1 pm Lodge Ballroom • $20 Sunday spring Brunch Join us for Champagne Brunch at the Mountain View Lodge. Enjoy a lavish spread of breakfast and lunch entrées including delectable desserts and pastries. Bottomless champagne is also included! This is a hot ticket here at SDV so don't wait, seating will go quick. You can register online or at the front desk. After registering please reserve your seat at the front desk. Saturday, April 27 • 5 pm • Mountain View Lodge Free • Cruise Night & Tailgating Classic and specialty car fans cruise into Solera Diamond Valley Mountain View Lodge on Saturday, April 27 for our very first Cruise Night. In addition to awesome autos on display, Cruise Night is also a night of good old fashioned cruisin' along with live music and dancing. We will have a Live DJ providing classic tunes to get everyone into the cruising spirit. Also the Veterans Club will be selling delicious BBQ foods. Those of you interested in displaying your truck, car or motorcycle please register with Melissa at the front desk. Since this event is outside, we are also opening the parking lot to residents who would like to park their regular cars, trucks, and motorhomes and tailgate with other residents. Residents wishing to park their car in the parking lot we ask that you come see Melissa to register a parking spot. Spacing is limited, especially for motorhomes. Our hope is to make Cruise Night an instant classic here at SDV, we hope to see you all here and ready to cruise. Join us for a special presentation on various benefits and resources that are available to seniors. You will be given a FREE Senior Resource and Benefit Packet with answers to questions listed below and much, much more. You will also learn about the 25 Documents that need to be in place as you age.
