| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | May 2019 | 31 Getting to know us better… Meet Char Weakley, a Co-Promoter of SASY! "I have been a Four Seasons resident for 15 years and a participant in SASY for almost that long--ever since it started, when The Other Jeanne and Ingrid were leading it. For fun, I've raised five puppies for Guide Dogs of the Desert. Now I just have one mutt and three cats. Over the past 40 years I have built 10 dollhouses and given most of them away to granddaughters, nieces, etc. I've made around 20 or so quilts, most of which were also given away. I'm retired now and do nothing much but sit around, drink coffee, read the newspapers, and walk the dog. Oh, and show up for SASY on Tuesday and Thursday mornings! At 7:30!" We will be sharing other team members over the next few months. SASY consists of 12 strength training moves. We focus on arms, legs, and torso. All exercises are done slowly and with a chair for balance support. The class is thirty minutes long. Come join us. We do start early – really the best part of the day! If you have questions regarding this class, please call: Jeanne Lincoln (765-7112), Char Weakley (926-2599) or Joyce Kerns (325- 8840). Strong Adults Stay Young (SASY) Healthy Living The Healthy Living Club, at the present time, consists of about fifteen core members. Some of the articles we read and discuss are varied, interesting and informational. We cover a variety of subjects from "false advertising" of supplements to "labeling" of products for consumption. We encourage you to come and visit with us. This club is free and we delight in encouraging our team members to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Please join us every Wednesday at 9 am in the Multipurpose Room. Thank you. Info., Dave & Karen Tuvim, 599-4236. Come join the fun! We play on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays from 7:30 am to noon. We invite anyone that would like to learn how to play Pickleball to come on down the fourth Saturday of the month at 8 am for lessons. We know you will have as much fun as we do. Players of all skill levels welcome! Pickleball
