FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2019 49 Seasoned Solos If you are single and enjoy a variety of activities, then Seasoned Solos just might be the group for you. At each meeting we discuss what is going on in the Inland Empire and plan activities for the coming month, from local lunches and dinners to excursions to presidential libraries, Redlands Bowl, Metro Link trips into LA and the beach train to San Juan Capistrano. There's not much that we won't consider doing. We meet on the first Friday of each month in The Lodge Arts & Crafts Room at 6 pm. Even though we had gray and cloudy skies, we had a great turnout with more than 25 cars and many spectators. Organizers Rick Morales and Frank Morales were extremely happy with the turnout. A special thanks to all who attended. The Corvettes and Mustangs were well represented along with Porsche, Pontiac Solstice and some nice looking hot rods and classic Chevys. Each month we will be featuring several cars along with their owners. This month we are featuring Diana Febela and her 2008 torch red C6 Corvette. Diana and her husband Frank have lived in Four Seasons for three months. Dale Supernaw showed his extremely radical 1953 Henry J. Kaiser. It is a very bright yellow, with a 383 Blown chevy engine, 4 speed trans. Dale and his wife Linda have lived in Four Seasons since last August. Gilbert A. Morales (no relationship to Frank or Rick) and his 1946 Chevrolet Fleet Master are both originals. Gilbert and his wife recently moved into the Four Seasons community. Our next Cars & Coffee gathering will be Saturday, May 4 at 9 am at The Lodge parking lot. Please come and join us. Spectators are more than welcome. The highlights of this trip will be shared in the next Breeze. Club members Dave and Suzanne Roldan took their RV to New Orleans to visit family and enjoy Mardi Gras. Our upcoming trips include Morro Bay and Paso Robles for wine tasting in May. In June we will be going to Bishop, August is Jackson, CA, September is Mesa Verde, CO, October is Borrego Springs and November is Pechanga. Guests are welcome to participate in our campouts. Our monthly meetings are at The Lodge on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm.
