The Welcome Committee hosted its first presentation for new
residents of SDV on March 27. Sandra Day, Committee Chair,
presented a new video of our wonderful "Island," showcasing the
sports courts, paseo, and, of course, our beautiful Mountain View
Lodge.
There was a lot of information available to newcomers, helping
them to get their feet planted at Solera Diamond Valley and in the
city of Hemet. A vendor list and a comprehensive list of businesses
and services around town were available at the Welcome Committee
table along with other useful forms relating to life here. Friends who
have lived here for several years said that they also found useful
information.
Richard Booth, our Lifestyle Director, gave us a preview of
upcoming Lifestyle Events. In addition, Cindi Lempke, the Interim
Director of the Hemet/San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce, was a
guest speaker. Cindi had a plethora of information about the growth

The Welcome Committee wants to express thanks to the Volunteer
Group and homeowners who attended. It was an opportunity
not only for meeting new residents, but for getting to know other
neighbors a little better, while sipping a glass of wine and enjoying
some tasty tidbits.
The event was informative as well as enjoyable and we look
forward to more like it as new families make the decision to call
Solera Diamond Valley home.
