Have you seen the Real Housepeeps of Beverly Hills, or Dancing with the Peeps, or maybe the Peepalor? Our creative Happy Cookers members will be displaying fun ways to use Peeps in witty settings. Our featured speaker will be Barbara Hanna. Barbara is the chairperson for the Banning Centennial Celebration this year. She is well known in the Banning area for her many contributions to the city, having served on the City Council and as Mayor of the city. She will speaking about the history of Banning and the Centennial Celebrations that will be taking place. SPRING LUNCHEON: The Spring Luncheon will be held on May 8, and will feature the Banning Centennial. Tickets may be purchased at the March and April meetings. The luncheon will include a trilogy salad (three different salads) and muffins with ice cream and cookies for dessert. SEE���S CANDIES: Easter is just around the corner, March 31, and we will be selling See���s Candy. We will have your favorite chocolate eggs, small boxes and our regular chocolates, peanut brittle, lollipops, and gift certificates. Look for us in the Main Clubhouse Lobby on March 27, 28, 29 and 30. We will also be selling at the Spring Craft Show on March 16, and at our meeting on March 13. Shop early for the best selection. GARDEN CLUB TRIPS: JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK ON APRIL 25: Cost is $35 and includes entrance, ranch tour, bus, and tips. If less than 40 people sign up, the cost will be $5 pp more. A National Park Card is necessary and can be purchased at the North Entrance at the Ranger Station, if you need to purchase one. It is $10 for life. Bring a picnic lunch, drinks and snacks, plus dress for comfort and walking. We will exit the South Entrance. The bus leaves at 8 am and returns at 5 pm.
