Sun Lakers at Canyon Lanes
We are into July and it is getting hot. Temperatures outside are
heating up and so are our bowlers. We have seen some really high
scores early into the season. Of our twenty teams four of them are
battling for first place. They are: Spare Us with Bob Bullington,
Kitty Bullington, Johanna Hollabaugh; and Warren Hollabaugh. The
Bowling Stones with Kathy Duerr, Mike Tocchini, Ken Schnabel and
Joseph De La Torre; Motion To Strike with John Noonan, Mae Brock,
Pat Bisesi and Jim McGowan; S.O.B.'s with Ginger Chavez, Mike
Draney, Karen Struchen and Ray Struchen.
Here are the season high scores for the men: Joseph De La Torre
with a scratch series of 766. Andy Torro with a high scratch game of
238. Season high scores for the women: Pat Dolphin with a scratch
series of 506. Barbara Semic with a high game of 194. It is too early
in the season to post handicap scores.
No one has ever gotten sun burnt in a Bowling Alley.

ATTENTION! ATTENTION! It's never too
early to start making plans for the fall session
of Tuesday bowling.
There is a change in the date of the
organizational meeting. The meeting will
be held on Tues., Oct. 8 at 10 am in the Main
Clubhouse Ballroom. Bowling begins one
week later on Oct. 15 at 9 am at Canyon Lanes.
