Are you ready to get your "funk" on? Our Sunday, July 21 show features the soulful sounds of the band DysFUNKsion. This talented eight- person group will be showing off their amazing musical talent and fun stage show, playing the music of Kool and the Gang, Earth, Wind and Fire, Aretha Franklin, the B 52's, Bruno Mars, Pink, and many other great groups. DysFUNKsion will provide a great party time at the Amphitheater letting us get our groove on. The concert is from 7 to 8:30 pm. Chairs can be placed in the Amphitheater after 10 am Sunday the day of the show. Blankets may not be placed to save chair spots. Get the party started with refreshments if you like, but glass bottles must be covered. The aisle must be kept clear for safety. So, come on down to the Amphitheater and party with your friends and neighbors, enjoy the beautiful Amphitheater and music under the stars. ~ Mark Lassen Amphitheater FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2019 35 After what seemed like a long, cold, wet winter and spring, it appears summer is finally upon us. It will be great to see all our neighbors out and about again enjoying all that Four Seasons has to offer. Our June 12 Neighborhood Watch meeting was training for AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and CPR training. This was conducted by Kim Nelson RN Nursing Trainer and two other nurses from San Gorgonio Hospital. Although this was not a certification program, it will be advantageous to have people in our community able to assist in an emergency and know how to utilize the equipment. If you were unable to attend, we will be adding more training in the future. National Night Out will be held for our residents on July 25. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Doors open at 5:30 pm for dessert and refreshments with the program beginning at 6 pm. We encourage everyone to come out and support those who serve. Our guest speakers will be from the Beaumont Police, Fire Department, City Council and City Manager. We will also have the new Banning Chief of Police, Riverside County Sheriff and California Highway Patrol. We may even have a visit from one of our four legged officers. Mark your calendars for July 25. All residents are welcome. Neighborhood Watch is aware we have residents who work or are unable to attend the monthly 10 am meeting, so for the months of August and October, in addition to our regular meetings, we'll be adding meetings at 6 pm to be held in the RCN building. We are working to have a total of four evening meetings starting next year, including our National Night Out. We are still reminding everyone to slow down while driving in the community. As a reminder the speed limit is 30 MPH on Four Seasons Circle and 25 MPH on all other streets. The Beaumont Police department has been patrolling our community and has issued tickets for speeding and stop sign violations etc. Let's keep everyone safe and obey all stop signs and posted speeds. Thank you to all our Block Captains and all of our Neighborhood Watch members who work to keep our community safe. Remember if you see something, say something to the appropriate authority. Please don't confront any individual(s) directly. ~ Kathy Craven, kathycraven@rocketmail.com Neighborhood Watch
