It's great to see both of them back in the saddle. Bob made the ride to Tucson in April and was pleased to report that his shoulder is all well. He is also back as a regular on our Thursday rides. Terry was still on the mend and unable to make the Tucson ride but he, too, is riding again on Thursdays and free of shoulder pain. Welcome back, Terry and Bob! And speaking of Thursday rides, we have been taking advantage of the mild spring weather. A few weeks ago we went on a 200 mile ride to the Wynola Pizza and Bistro (just outside Julian) where we stopped for a leisurely lunch. From there the group headed for Temecula, taking in the beautiful wine country scenery while working our way over Sage Road and then home on Hwy 79. It was a perfect day. Not to be outdone, a more recent Thursday ride took us to San Clemente for lunch on the pier. This is always a fun ride because we get to San Clemente via the twisting and turning Ortega Hwy. After our bellies were full, we saddled up for the ride home. Our route took us south to Oceanside and then east to Pala. We then headed north to the Temecula wine country. In all, it was about 190 miles of riding bliss. Summer is just around the corner and the temps will be rising in the coming weeks and months, which pretty much takes the desert out as a possible Thursday destination, so we will likely be doing some mountain riding. Come to think of it, we haven't been to Wrightwood or Big Bear in a while. Can't wait. Plans for our September ride to the Sierras are pretty much finalized at this point; nine riders are signed up for this one. This will be a seven day ride and our longest multi-day ride of 2019. We will head up the coast to San Francisco and then we will work our way up and over the Sierras then head home on the 395. I have a hunch nine motorcycles will be getting fresh oil, tune-ups, and new tires in the coming weeks. If you ride and want to know more about the Four Seasons MC, feel free to call club president, Terry Humble (909) 706-2298, or VP, Scott Snyder (562) 714-7252 or Sec, Jim Ayala (951) 392-6259. We also meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 6 pm in the RNC building. Anyone interested in joining the club is welcome to join us at our monthly meeting; it's a great way to meet the members. ~ Jim Ayala, jimrayala95@gmail.com
