This is a FREE event sponsored by the Recreation Department. Ice Cream will be served at the bar from 2 until 3 pm in the Clubhouse. There will be live music to entertain you. EDUCATION HEALTH LUNCHEON Aug. 23, provided by Kaiser Permanente and on Sept. 12 , provided by Tri-City. Both events require tickets for the luncheon even though the events are free. Watch for the flyers for more detailed information. ANNUAL CONCERT ON THE GREEN Sat., Aug. 31. This Luau themed event is FREE and sponsored by the Recreation Department. HOLIDAY GOLF CART PARADE Tues., Dec. 17, Annual Holiday Golf Cart Parade. This is a free event. NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY Tues., Dec. 31. This is a ticketed event sponsored by the Recreation Department. AARP will be offering their two-day Smart Drivers Course Sat., July 20 and Sat., July 27 (8:30 am to 12:30 pm) in the Clubhouse. This class is presented in two sessions and attendees must attend both. This qualifies for a discount with your auto insurance company after completion of the course. The course fee is only $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. Please bring your AARP membership card to receive the discount when signing up at the Front Desk. Make check payable to AARP. Smart Driver Course Four July The Recreation Department is selling tickets for our annual 4th of July party at the Clubhouse reception desk. Tickets are $36 per person. The event will be located poolside and begins at 6:30 pm. This will include a barbecue style dinner with dessert by Red Tail catering. You'll enjoy carved Tri-Tip, grilled BBQ chicken, a variety of salads, vegetable medley and apple cobbler for dessert. We will provide a variety of soft drinks (BYOB). Entertainment will be by Royal-Heat, a new "performance" band with rave reviews. This event is always an early sell-out and we recommend you purchase your tickets early so we can Flamingle! The Saturday Swim Clinic started June 15 and goes until July 20 from 9:30 until 10:30 am. Learn to breathe properly and perfect your stroke(s). Gain personal strength, confidence in the water and develop a workout plan. The Swim Clinic is free for Swim & Wellness Club members and $10 for non-club members.
