FLEA MARKET SPACE RESERVATIONS It's time to clean out your closets, garage and storage units. Wed., Aug. 21 at 8 am, the Recreation Department will start selling spaces for the Flea Market at the front desk in the Clubhouse. Table rentals are $15 each (limit of two). Make check payable to OHCC Woodchuck Club. Space rentals to be purchased by residents ONLY. NO outside vendors. Everything should be gently used or new and priced to go home with someone else! There will be fun, food, and entertainment. The Woodchucks Clubs' annual "Flea Market" is scheduled for Sat., Sept. 21, in the Clubhouse from 9 am until 1 pm. There will be no entry fee for shoppers. EDUCATION HEALTH LUNCHEON Fri., Aug. 23, is the Kaiser Presentation and luncheon (11:30 am). You will need to pick up your lunch ticket at the front desk before they run out. This is a free event sponsored by the Recreation Department. ICE CREAM SOCIALS Mon., Aug. 26. This is a FREE event sponsored by the Recreation Department. Ice Cream will be served at the bar from 2 until 3 pm in the Clubhouse. There will be live music to entertain you. ANNUAL CONCERT ON THE GREEN will be held on Labor Day weekend, Sat., Aug. 31, from 4:30 until 6:30 pm. This years' event will feature a new band, Sunset Purple, which "nails it" in many genres: Classic Rock, Modern Rock, 60s music all the way to current songs on the charts. This group is hot, hot, hot! Just bring your dancing partner or even listening partner with your favorite drink, picnic basket and blanket with beach chair. You'll be able to mark your spot the day before at 3 pm in front of the Golf Casa. This years' theme will be a Luau. WATER VOLLEYBALL VS STAFF Fri., Aug. 23, come on down to the Clubhouse at 3 pm and watch STAFF take on the residents in a fun-filled game of Water Volleyball. ANNUAL OHCC MAHJONG TOURNAMENT Sun., Sept. 8. This is a fun event and very popular. Please mark your calendars and watch for more information in the months to come.
