Sew What? Club
Happy fall. We have received our bags with our finished
round Robin, or row by row, and we're excited to share the
finished products soon. Halloween and fall are so fun to
decorate with all the beautiful colors. Our demo by Vivian
was fantastic and so well-organized, with great information
from someone who does so much in paper piecing. Come
join us. We'd love to do show and share, and we enjoy learning
from others. We meet the first, third and fifth Mondays of
month at 1 pm. For info., call Jan Hamm at (951) 212-6799
or Vivian Myrdahl at (626) 221-0872.
Sun Lakes Quilters
If you are new to Sun Lakes or haven't
attended the Craft Fair in the past you
are in for a real treat. So much talent
in this community you will be amazed.
We look forward to seeing you the first
weekend in November for this two-day
event from 9 am to 1 pm. Once you have
seen all the items we make we'd love to
have you join our group. You can stop by
and see us sometime between 12:45 and
2:30 pm on Tuesdays in the Arts and
Crafts Room and we can tell you more
about what the Sew What Club does year
round for the local community. There
are no membership dues to our club,
just weekly gatherings to enjoy each
other's company. Thank you to all who
have donated yarn recently… our bins
are full again. However, we need more
people who can knit and/or crochet.
Monthly potlucks are held every month
on the last Monday. Join the fun!
