| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | NOVEMBER 2019 | 31 WOW! We had a great time at Zion National Park in September. Zion River RV Resort can't be beat for customer service, location, and amenities. We had great food, get-togethers, outdoor games, pool time, golfing, shopping, hiking, and a Jeep tour through Zion (we filled three giant awning-covered vehicles that seated up to 20 people each). Scenery was breath-taking, and the weather was perfect! We enjoyed four new members this trip. Two were experienced RVers, and two were newbies. The wonderful newbies arranged to have a trailer put in place before they arrived (there are many businesses that do this at most of the locations we go to). I spoke to this couple and they said they had a great time and they learned: A) they love camping; B) they enjoy our group's dynamics and its members, and; C) they were very happy they rented a trailer first. They liked the trailer they rented but in using it, they realized there were things they liked about that particular trailer and things they would change when they buy one. They said they would probably rent another time or two before purchasing so they know they're getting exactly what they want and need in an RV. In short, I feel they're geniuses. The hubby and I traded in our first RV to get our "forever RV" that is just right. So that's a fine example that you don't have to own an RV to join and enjoy our activities. You can always rent an RV, have one put in place (if available), stay in cabins (if available), or stay in nearby hotels (there was fantastic hotel adjacent to our campground at Zion, and one of our long-time members who recently sold his RV stayed there with his family.) Call Sandy Alexanian for more information at (951) 381-1292. We'd love to have you!
