Even though it's getting close to the end of 2019, the RV Trips -
Skip Harvey is already working on trips for 2021. You read correctly
- "2021." As for the year 2020, there is a list of fantastic trips in the
works: Western FMCA Rally (Indio, CA), LA Pop-up, Pahrump (NV),
Buellton (CA), Bishop Mule Days (CA), and Park City (Utah). If you
are interested in more details of these trips, see the RV Club website
and look under the "Calendar" tab. If you have any trip ideas for
2021, check in with Skip Harvey.
Last month I mentioned a big trip that was then underway in
Northern California and South Oregon. The RV Club participants
say this was an amazing trip led by wagon masters Skip and Sandy
Harvey, Tom and Sue Porter, and Mel and Jan Feintuch. They had
many tours, events, and opportunities to explore. (See photos) The
large group photo was taken near Hat Creek, CA, where they could
view Mount Shasta and Lassen Peak. The photo on a platform in a
forest was at Natural Bridge near Union Creek, Oregon, on the way to
Crater Lake. The third photo was at Harry and David Company store
in Medford, OR, where there was a factory tour. They recommend
the "Moose Munch." Other activities included a glass-blowing tour
in Grants Pass and a catered seafood dinner at Oceanside RV Resort
in Coos Bay.
The next general meeting will be Tues., Nov. 26, in Abravanel Hall.
Social time starts at 7 pm, and business meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
