54 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2019 | Nude in Normandy - POP Tennis Personal Player Stories: Yes, you heard right! This fellow player has quite a risqué record of nudity and semi nudity her entire younger life. She even said she got caught skinny dipping in the Main Clubhouse pool about 10 years ago and was ratted out by one of her conservative neighbors! So, while visiting Normandy with friends, she decided to have several nude pictures taken on the beach which were later preserved in a photo album. She also had her picture taken in the previous fountain at the Louvre in Paris, along with four gendarmes and 20 tourists! Those were the days of Brigitte Bardot … so when in Rome… and in this case, Paris, do as the Parisians do! Well, at least that was her motto back then. Her best tennis experience was at Berkeley where the tennis courts were on top of the general parking garages across the street from campus. Well, since the courts were high up and she was part of the bra-burning mindset, she would play tennis topless. She has traveled extensively her entire life, starting at 18. At that time, she caught the travel bug and hasn't stopped traveling yet. She has been to 32 countries and speaks fluent German. She visits her many cousins in Switzerland as often as possible. She has dated her paternal family tree back to 1451. She graduated from UC Berkeley and the University of New Hampshire. She was a secretary at various locations, including a private secretary in Vienna, Austria for a year and then a UC Berkeley Foreign Exchange Student in Goettingen, Germany for a year. Later, she was a Fulbright Exchange Teacher in Hamburg for a year. She taught high school English, German, and Public Speaking. In addition to interesting characters you will meet, we also have get-togethers. On Oct. 13, the Pop Tennis Team had a pool party with a hearty attendance. Also, the Tennis Club has invited all Pop Tennis Players to their Holiday Meeting and Dinner Dance on Sun., Dec. 15, at 5:30 pm at the South Clubhouse. BYOB. Cost: $22.50. RSVP by Dec. 9.
