| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | January 2020 | 9 Lots of lucky ladies and gents had a great time at the Lucky Lady Casino Night. There were a lot of smiles, laughter, "oh darns," and "I won!" heard throughout the Ballroom. The music was just right to keep the cards and dice moving to create winners. Many players found it very helpful to get lessons on how to play the games. And let's not forget the amazing donut wall. Thanks to the Paine's for providing the wall to display the delicious donuts, and to Pat Sweeney for building it. The night provided fun for the community and proceeds from the purchasing of extra chips provided $400 to the Valley Community Pantry. Let's do this again. The December holiday season was welcomed by a dazzling champagne reception. The Lodge was decorated in its finest, and those in attendance enjoyed piano music played by Dave Tubin and his prodigy. The Four Seasons Community Home Tour was a great success with eight homes displaying spectacularly decorated homes for the holiday season. Thanks to Mary Swinney and her committee for organizing the highly anticipated event, and especially the hosts who opened their homes. The annual golf cart parade is always a crowd pleaser and this year was no exception. Thanks to all who decorated their carts and those of you who shouted season's greetings. The magnificent decorations in The Lodge create a spirit of joy. With colorful Christmas trees and wreaths decorating every room, yes even the restrooms, to the beautifully decorated fireplace. Thanks to Jo Ann Sopata and her committee for their creative talent and many hours of hard work. The Lodge was a vision of beauty. You would be wise to save these dates on your calendar: Sun., Jan. 19 is a comedy night and on Sat., Feb. 8, plan to join us from 4:30 to 6:30 pm for a wine pairing event. There will be wine paired with small bites featuring Weins Winery. Wines will be available for purchase. Here's wishing everyone a prosperous and very happy 2020. Social Committee
