22 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2020 Our New Year's Eve party "In the Midnight Hour" was amazing. Thanks to our event Co-Chairs, Pam Morales and Loretta Ramsey, to all the volunteers who came to help with the set up, to our vendors for their service, and to all the participants who really helped get the party started. It was a wonderful evening! The Rock & Roll Reunion is Feb. 23. Tickets go on sale Jan. 13, and flyers are posted with details. You are all invited to bring out your poodle skirts, jeans, and saddle shoes as we enjoy impressionists bringing us "Mr. Tutti Fruiti" Little Richard, "Father of Soul" Ray Charles, "Rock 'N' Roll Bad Boy" Jerry Lee Lewis, and "Teenage Dream Date" Buddy Holly from Premeditated Productions. It's going to be a "swell" time! Our team is looking forward to our plans for 2020 and your Social Committee wants to wish you all the happiest New Year! ~ Joyce Hogue, jhogue54@gmail.com Social Committee Our December committee meeting focused on reviewing the condition of all the road signs in the community. That work is ongoing, as it is a big undertaking. Stop signs have been installed making some junctions four-way or three-way stops — for example, where Green Creek meets Four Seasons Circle. These new stop signs have made it much safer to cross the street and have slowed traffic significantly. To the 98 percent who stop, thank you! And for the others, please have respect for your neighbors, many of whom are out walking their dogs or just exercising. Trip hazards on sidewalks have been identified and will be rectified in the near future. Please slow down as you approach the traffic circles (roundabouts) and merge safely. Once in the circle, you have the right-of-way so no stopping is required. Exit using your turn signal. As a reminder, if you witness theft of packages, reckless or drunk driving, or other potential criminal behavior, call 911 and let Beaumont PD handle it. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 10 am in the RCN Conference Room. Please attend and let us know what safety concerns you have. ~ Geoffrey Wilson, sw072153@aol.com Safety Committee
