All International Dance classes were resumed during the week of Jan. 6. Merle Nazareth is reviewing some
of the Indian dances performed in the past. Donna Kissling and Victoria Simanton continue teaching the
physical benefits to the body with Belly Dance. Lourdes' Monday night Salsa classes are enjoyed by a large
group of IDS members. Patricia Juarez continues teaching Folkloric every week with our professional, Blanca
Martinez' expertise every other week. Diane Avina and Sarah Thornberry continue teaching Hawaiian classes
on Wednesday mornings, and they also provide Hawaiian dance throughout the local area.
Diane Avina conducts Flamenco classes every week, and Vanessa Albalos provides her
professional services twice a month. Jean Court teaches classes in American dance since she
had her own studio for 30 years in the past.
All IDS dancers eagerly await our 2020 show in November of this year, and are practicing with
concentrated effort and focus to make this the best year for International Dancers of Sun Lakes.
