This month Bingo will be held on Feb. 11, 18 and 25. Doors open at 4:30 pm and games start at 6 pm. Guests can play for as little as $7 for a great evening of fun. We all have our favorite all-time books and authors. Most everyone I've met through the library knows my favorite contemporary author is Harlan Coben because I can never even suspect what comes next, much less the ending! Other favorites are The Arms of Krupp, Hawaii, Not a Penny More Not a Penny Less by Jeffrey Archer, The Late Great State of California, anything Taylor Caldwell and Susan Elizabeth Phillips (hilarious romance) write. Some of those are old and can only be found on Amazon, but Coben and Phillips are current. Please consider broadening our horizons and sharing your favorite titles and authors by emailing them to casakel@msn.com. The Library Committee will also attempt to purchase your favorites if they're not already available. Audio books were unavailable for a few weeks due to painting in the Main Clubhouse paperback library. They are now back on the shelves along with newly purchased titles. Our volunteer appreciation luncheon will be held again this year in the South Clubhouse on April 7 at noon. Invitations will be sent in early March.
