FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2020 35 Travel Group If you haven't decided what expeditions you want to take this year, perhaps this month's travel expo can help. Scheduled for Feb. 12 from 12:30 to 3:30 pm in the Ballroom, the expo will have vendors ready to provide information and answer questions on various trips and cruises. The expo is open to all residents. No reservations are required. For information on travel group-sponsored trips, contact Irene Welker at irenewelker55@gmail.com. If you would like to be on our email notification list, contact Sharon Bond at sjbond2013@gmail. com. ~ Kris Corbett We had a beautiful morning for our Jan. 4 gathering of car enthusiasts and their great looking cars. We had several newcomers such as Paul and Brenda Carrocino with their beautiful 2003 black Ford Thunderbird, which they have owned for five years. The T-Bird is 100 percent original with a removable hardtop and powered by a V8 engine. Paul and Brenda have been Four Seasons residents for a little over a year. Wayne Miller and his four-legged companion "Baily" brought their 1968 blue Chevrolet pickup truck. It is powered by a Chevy 350 small block and a 700-R transmission. Wayne has owned his truck for five years, and has been a resident of Four Seasons for five years. Greg Messick arrived with his absolutely gorgeous, award-winning 1961 Corvette. The Vette is powered by a modern Chevrolet LS1 engine, has air-conditioning, disk brakes, upgraded suspension, and performs like a new car. Our next gathering will be Saturday, Feb. 1 at 9 am. (FYI, if it rains, we will still get together for some coffee or breakfast at the Bistro.) As I drive around Four Seasons, I do see other classic cars and trucks, new Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes, etc. that have NOT made an appearance at any of our gatherings. If this describes you, we would love to have you stop by for a visit, enjoy some hot coffee, and munch on a donut or two, but most of all, share some conversation. For more information, please contact Rick Morales at (951) 797-3732 or Frank Morales at (951) 203-4578. ~ Frank Morales CARS & COFFEE Gregg Messick and his 1961 Vette Wayne Miller and Baily's 68 Chevy truck Paul and Brenda Carrocino and their T-Bird
