38 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2020 The Performing Arts Club is comprised of many talented individuals. From actors, singers, musicians, writers, comedians, producers, directors, and back stage managers to sound and lighting specialists, and more. We all work very hard to bring you entertainment at no charge five to six times a year. In return, we hope that you will attend our performances and enjoy a night out. If you're new to our wonderful Four Seasons community or if you're simply looking for something new to be involved with, please consider joining our fun group. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 4 pm in the RCN Conference Room. Come join us and see what we're all about. We would love to meet you. Previous experience in the Arts is not required. We are a group of diversified folks who just want to have some fun while bringing entertainment to our community. We're starting off 2020 with our first of two Radio Theater shows. Radio Theater Show - Saturday, Feb. 29, 6 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. No charge. We will be performing two radio plays from the 1940s. The first, a comedy, is Burns & Allen, "The New Year's Eve Party." If you're familiar with George Burns and his dim-witted wife Gracie Allen, you already know you'll be laughing at Gracie's hi-jinx. It's a light-hearted show that will surely entertain you. The second script is a drama/mystery from Suspense Theater, "The ABC Murders." If you're an Agatha Christie fan, you might already know this story, but please don't give away the ending to the other viewers. It's the story of a door-to-door hosiery salesman who travels by train to different cities in hopes of making new sales. We've Americanized this script (it's originally set in England) to make it more relatable to our audience. I'm sure we'll keep your attention as we go from murder to murder until the actual murderer is revealed. In both shows, the actors will be wearing head mics and costumes and the stages will be set with props. The Ballroom will be set up with tables and chairs, so we suggest that you bring your dinner with your choice of beverage. There will be complimentary cookies/cupcakes available. Make it a Dinner Theater show and bring your friends!
