40 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2020 Our mission to learn, share, and have fun with photography starts each meeting with an intro to new members and upcoming events, a segment of tips and tricks, and presentation on format, style or gear use. We continue with sharing the previous month's photo challenge works and the selection of the next month's photo challenge, an open discussion on outings and topic selections for the upcoming months. Our December meeting included a fantastic and informative introduction to flash use by Lyle Cameron, including demonstrations of the many tools available to us. Lyle instructed us about what flash to use and when. Then he gave us a glimpse into his full studio photography set up with flash, strobe and various lighting techniques. This presentation/demonstration was very informative and inspirational for all of us. Thanks, Lyle! January's demonstration was on Table Top and Macro Photography by Jacque Sneddon. February's Demonstration will be on Pet Photography by Elaine Hollman. The FSPC Photo Processing Work Study Group began in January. Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month at 1 pm in the Game Room. Please note the change in time and place since the first posting in the January Breeze. So many interesting and exciting things are in store for the Four Seasons Photography Club! Please drop in to see what all the excitement is about. We meet on the third Tuesday of every month in the RCN Main Room at 6:30 pm. ~ ReNae Stueve, renaestueve@outlook.com PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB Seasoned Solos If you are single and enjoy a variety of activities, then Seasoned Solos just might be the group for you. At each meeting we discuss what is going on in the Inland Empire and plan activities, from local lunches and dinners to excursions to presidential libraries, the Redlands Bowl, Metro Link trips into LA, and the beach train to San Juan Capistrano. There's not much that we won't consider doing. We meet on the first Friday of each month in The Lodge Arts & Crafts Room at 6 pm.
