Step It Up Line Dancing
What the heck happened to 2019? Time is
moving so fast. I just celebrated my one-
year anniversary of teaching line dance and
it has truly been one of the most rewarding
experiences in my life. There are so many fun-
loving people who come to class and I want to
thank you all so much for your support and
participation. Let's continue to rock the
Ballroom in 2020!
I've heard a few comments lately that at other
events they play a lot of line dance songs but the truth of the
matter is that line dancing can be applied to almost any song.
That's why you see us "crazy line dancers" everywhere! This is
what makes it really fun once you learn a few dances, and how to
apply them to other songs. The choices are endless when it comes
to line dancing.
Hopefully, you were able to attend the holiday show in early
December as we were invited to participate in it! It's so exciting to
see people grow their dancing skills, push themselves outside of
their comfort zone at our age, gain self-confidence, and dance in
front of hundreds of people! Like I've said before, our class is all
about friendship and fun. If you learn something along the way
that's good too! Classes are held every Monday in the Ballroom
starting at 12:30 pm if you would like to join in. ~ Janine
