Sharon's concern is environmental, Clare's is about healthy living, mine is about safety and Dick's is about facts and having fun while you're learning them. I'd like to throw in one more, if I may. A neighbor recently suggested we thank those in our community who, with no fanfare or acclaim, are tidying up not just our community but the area around us. A few of our neighbors have been spotted picking up trash in and around SDV, especially on Warren and in the retention pond on Fisher. Not only are they helping to improve the look of our community, but they stand as a reminder to all that small deeds can have a powerful effect. Our thanks go to these unsung heroes who are combining healthy walks with benefits to all of us. If you know of another selfless act, or a good deed that needs recognizing, drop me an email at tarossett58@gmail.com. We'd love to continue acknowledging the good that is round us.
