40 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2020 Our mission to learn, share and have fun with photography starts each meeting with an intro to new members and upcoming events, a segment of tips and tricks, and presentation on format, style or gear use. We continue with sharing of the previous month's photo challenge works and the selection of the next month's photo challenge, an open discussion on outings and topic selections for the upcoming months. Images are from Steve Edelman, our Birding Club President and Train Whisperer. Our January meeting had the highest attendance on record, and included a riveting demonstration on Tabletop Photography, composition and executions by Jacque Sneddon. Jacque's creative methods drew us into the world of artistic photography and set our imaginations on fire. The team was then challenged with creating their own tabletop scenes at home to present at the February meeting. Since we write our articles one month in advance, I can only promise you the next batch of images we share will be very unique, thanks to Jacque's inspirational demo! February's demonstration was on pet photography presented by Elaine Holliman. Elaine's pet portraits are stunning, and she has graciously agreed to give us a few tips to help capture the character and spark of our own fur babies. We had an outing on Feb. 22 with the Birding Club to the San Jacinto Wildlife Area (Davis Unit). Other upcoming events are Southern California Railway Museum, Living Desert Zoo, Lake Hemet, Oak Glen Preserve The FSPC Photo Processing Work Study Group will continue in February, with a discussion on file management by Larry Colby. The Study Group meetings will be held the third Thursday of each month and 1 pm in The Lodge Game Room There are so many interesting and exciting things in store for the Four Seasons Photography Club. Please drop in to see what all the excitement is about. Our main Photography Club meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month in the RNC main room at 6:30 pm. ~ ReNae Stueve, renaestueve@outlook.com PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB Seasoned Solos If you are single and enjoy a variety of activities, then Seasoned Solos just might be the group for you. At each meeting we discuss what is going on in the Inland Empire and plan activities, from local lunches and dinners to excursions to presidential libraries, the Redlands Bowl, Metro Link trips into LA, and the beach train to San Juan Capistrano. There's not much that we won't consider doing. We meet on the first Friday of each month in The Lodge Arts & Crafts Room at 6 pm.
