FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2020 49 Your Taste d'Vine Wine Club is pleased to present some wonderful wines from Lebanon. Lebanon is a small country nestled at the eastern most point of the Mediterranean, where the waves wash its shoreline from the furthest point north to its lowest point south. Lebanon has a long, dry, hot summer with plenty of sunshine and a short, rainy, cool winter with fog covering its green mountains. Vines are planted on the face of the mountains and through the valleys. With a strong French influence and organically grown, these wines are sure to please. Please join us March 19 (we meet the third Thursday of each month) in the Ballroom. Doors open at 5:15 pm with the meeting starting at 6 pm. Please bring a favorite wine to share with your table, along with an appetizer such as crackers, cheese or fruit – along with two glasses for tasting. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for resident guests. For info, please contact Gracy Luna (951) 292-3624. ~ Gracy Luna Taste d'Vine Classical Music Club We are classical music lovers with an interest in sharing our love, knowledge, and interest in classical music. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm in The Lodge Theater. We listen to and watch musical selections on the big screen. Each month we focus on a particular work or several selections of one composer. We also discuss current musical performances in the area. We welcome new members. Contact Steve Benoff at steve.benoff@verizon.net or (310) 413-4896. ~ Steve Benoff The Singers came back to rehearsals on Feb. 24 with new music. We are preparing for the April show. Please read about the show in the Performing Arts article in this issue of the Breeze. If you would like to join the Singers, would like to be included in my email list, or if you have questions about the Four Seasons Singers, call (951) 797-3466, or email me at bawasco@dc.rr.com. We always welcome new recruits who want to sing! ~ Barbara Wasco Four Seasons Singers Veterans Club The veterans made great strides in developing their organization during the January meeting. Critical for all seeking to join the Four Seasons Veterans Group, look for us at our new time and location. We will meet at the Kopper Kettle at 9:30 am every third Tuesday of the month. Let's face it, any meeting is better with The Kopper Kettle's coffee, bacon and eggs, or pancakes. Introduced at the meeting were several new Beaumont service opportunities. Members will discuss these and other opportunities at the February meeting. The Veterans are open to any opportunity to support the Four Seasons and Beaumont's veterans and their families. The Veterans Group is now forming teams to improve our community engagement and event planning. Now is a great time to join us. We need your enthusiasm, talents, ideas, and support. Plus, if we are to have an Army-Air Force vs Navy-Marine-Coast Guard Bocce Ball Competition, we will need a few "ringers." Go Army! We need your help. Get the word out to your veteran neighbors and their spouses: male, female, active, reserve, national guard, peace time, cold war, combat veterans, or interested resident, you are all welcome. See you at the Kopper Kettle on March 17 at 9:30 am. To find out more information about our Four Seasons Veterans Group, please visit our online website at fourseasonsveteransgroup. com/. You'll find our last meeting minutes, upcoming events, and Four Seasons Veterans Group Honor Roll. Please fill out our Contact Form and email it to us. ~ Dave Moreland, US Army Col. Ret.
