FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2020 45 We so enjoyed our six-week series on the subject of God's grace. You might ask: How can you spend six weeks on one subject? The answer is: We delved deep into the Word and had some great discussions. What is that grace? God's favor bestowed on us sinners. In other words, God loves us in spite of us! In February, we showed the movie "Overcomer" which was just in the theaters a few months ago. It's the story of a cross-country coach and his one team member, Hannah. The movie had lots of amazing messages for the Christian community. All "Believeā¦" members were invited, as well as their spouses, neighbors, friends, etc. And yes, we served popcorn! On Feb. 14 we began our next six-week series on the subject of God's peace. God's peace is different from the peace we feel when it's quiet, and we're in a resting and reflection mode. It's much more than that. God's peace is more encompassing, and can only come when you first experience God's grace. We always have great discussions and participation. Four Seasons ladies, if you are interested in joining an amazing group of Christian women, please come by the Game Room any Friday from 10:30 to 11:45 am to share in the discussions and meet others with your same beliefs and ideals. We look forward to having you join us. ~ Eileen Gilbert-Antoine; egcellent@msn.com "Believeā¦" Women's Bible Study Intercessory Prayer group Greeting intercessors, friends and neighbors! Dear neighbor, are you all caught up in what is going on in the world today ? Are you worried about what is going to happen if you get sick, or if you are not covered by enough insurance, or if something might happen to your spouse or children? Well, stop and take a deep breath. Web MD says: "Worry can affect the body in ways that may surprise you. When worrying becomes excessive, it can lead to feelings of high anxiety and even cause you to be physically ill, and with excessive worrying, your mind and body go into overdrive as you constantly focus on 'what might happen.'" Is there a remedy? Yes! I read on the web that there are 15 things you can do to help you relax and here are some of them: 1. The Four-Count - count silently to four while you inhale, hold for four counts, count silently to four while you exhale, hold for four counts. Repeat for one to five minutes. 2. The 10-Count - count to 10! But do it so you are totally aware of each breath you count. If you "forget to feel a breath," start over and try again. 3. Laughing to Relax - Take a laughter break - for five minutes, just laugh! What I like most from the article was what Dr. Henry, author of Energy Source Book the Fundamental of Personal Energy said: "Affirmations and Prayer Repetition of positive, affirmative phrases and spiritually inspiring verses induce profound relaxation effect. Yes, and prayer changes things, when you sing songs and hymns and spiritual songs, you feel so much better it changes the way you feel and it gives you an attitude of joy." There is one more thing you can do, you can read the Bible. It is the greatest book ever written. It will give you the remedy for anxiety, it is called the peace that passes all understanding. Join us in the Game Room every first Monday of the month. We meet at 9 am. We extend our invitation to all men. See you there. ~ Cookie Bonner; eaglewatchwb@ aol.com
