SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | MARCH 2020 5
Lifestyle Director's Report Lifestyle Director's Report
By Melissa Valona, Lifestyle Director
I want to give a big thank you for the warm welcome I have received
while transitioning into this new role. I am extremely excited for this
new chapter here at Solera and all of the new adventures that await
with the community.
I understand that with change in staff brings new ideas. I have
been receiving a flood of information over the past couple weeks
that have included ideas for events as well as areas that need
improvement. I ask while I am getting up to speed in my new role,
that all requests be documented on the Homeowner Request forms
available at the clubhouse.
There is no topic too large or small to document on the form, it is
important to me to give attention to all these concerns. Documenting
these requests will not only help me stay organized in the process of
facilitating the request but also insures nothing is lost or forgotten.
I also want to add that if you have any ideas for future events/
excursions, and would like to offer some information, please do so
on the Homeowner Request form.
For the month of March, we will be having our first craft night of
the year that will be hosted by our very own General Manager, Anna
Machado. Seats are limited so be sure to sign up fast! Solera will be
having our first catered St. Patrick's Day dinner and I for one am very
excited to have some of the traditional treats. We have our monthly
Lounge Night scheduled as well as a special visit with Valarie Booth
for a Wine and Yin class.
Hope to see you all there!
