| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | APRIL 2020 | 21 As you are reading through this issue of the Lifestyles Magazine, we would like to highlight a few items of interest. As always, page 2 includes important contact information for the Master Board, Advisory Committees, Administrative Staff and more. Toward the end of the magazine, you will find the Classified Ads and information on advertising, and how to submit articles for publication and/or to air on Good Day Sun Lakes on Channel 97. Of course, throughout the magazine you will find calendars, ads, and information on everything happening here at Sun Lakes Country Club. Page 1 provides a helpful Table of Contents to help you find items more easily. Did you notice the new section for interest groups? It first appeared in the March issue and response has been good. If you have an idea for a group, please submit it to us by the sixth of the month (for the following month) by emailing it to sunlakesnews@yahoo.com. Two very important items that affect all Sun Lakes residents: 1. Election of Master Board Members on April 8 – Make sure you vote! 2. Age Verification Form – this green form was included with the March issue of Lifestyles and must be turned in to the Administration Office by July 31. We hope you enjoy the Lifestyles Magazine and encourage you to contact us (see page 2) with questions or comments at any time. Lifestyles Advisory Library Advisory Thank you to those who supported our book sale on March 14 - our success is due to you! Our Q & A luncheon for volunteers is Tues., April 7 in the South Clubhouse at 12 pm. Please call or text (909) 973-3143 if you failed to receive an invitation and wish to attend. We on the Library Committee are attempting to "get the word out" that we are unable to accept donated books published prior to 2010. We have stated this on our bookmarks, in Lifestyles and used signage in the libraries to no avail. We continue to have boxes of very old books (as far back as 1896!) left in our libraries, and they continue to fill our cars and garages. Some boxes of old books are most likely donated by families who are not aware that we don't have the storage space to accommodate them. Any of the local libraries are happy to accept them, i.e. Cabazon, Calimesa, Redlands, Beaumont and Banning branches. We appreciate the assistance of the district delegates and any residents who can help to spread the word. Enjoy our libraries and please call the number mentioned above if there are books or genres you wish us to purchase or suggestions you wish to make to improve our libraries.
