| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | April 2020 | 19 Fun & Games 20-20 Hand & foot canasta The year is quickly passing by. It's April and I do not have a thing to say about April - one has to be careful 'cause you know what they say about April - they call it April Fool's Day. Now I know they can't really mean that every one is a fool in April, so please tell me just what it means. I think it means that we all should just play 20/20 and pretend it is just another month - what do you think? We have been having many players each time we play but I think we could use several more players, so try to find us some more people. Like I have said, we have people who are very good at the game and they make excellent teachers. It's fun - you will meet new people and you will have a good time. Call Billye (951) 926-8880 or Joyce (951) 325-8840 if you need more info. Bid Whist Club The Bid Whist Social Club meets on the first Friday of every month in the Game Room at The Lodge. Please join us for food, fun and games, from 2 to 5:30 pm. If you would like more information call or text LaDean Hatcher, (951) 677-7166. Or just show up. We will be happy to meet you. Bridge Club Wanted! Bridge players… we meet Tuesday at 1 pm. There is a sign-up sheet in the Game Room. Come have some fun with us! Please be early — don't be late! Call Annette Smith for information at (951) 663-0949. Bunco Babes Spring in almost here and already three month gone by of the new year. They say, "the older you get the faster time goes by." If that is so, let's not let time go by and not have some fun. With spring finally here, let's get out of our house and enjoy the fresh air and fun people. Bunco is just another way to meet some great ladies, laugh and scream Bunco. Socializing is so important and we need friends these days who we can relate to. We invite you to come out and have fun for an afternoon. We meet the fourth Friday of the month. This month it will be April 24 in the Game Room at 12:4 5pm. We serve snacks - all you need to bring something to drink and a big smile on your face. We do require you to call in ahead to reserve a seat as we have limited seating. Please RSVP to Paulette Defterios at (951) 467-0179 or paulettedeft@gmail.com. If you are a member and did not sign up or need to cancel you must do so by Sun., April 19. If you have any questions, please call Paulette Have a wonderful day and see you soon. Let's play. Double Deck Pinochle Join us Fridays, 10 am in The Lodge Multipurpose Room. We are a small group hoping to expand. Don't know how to play double deck pinochle? We will teach you. It is a lot of fun. For more information, contact Dick Tarpening (951) 766-7613. Euchre Are you interested? Sign up at The Lodge. Hand & Foot Do you want to learn a new card game? Do you want to "get more involved?" Then give me a call, Pat Hall, at (951) 599-4687 or email me at patsyhall852@yahoo.com and we will set up a time so that you can become acquainted with our version of Hand & Foot. If you already know how to play than just come on down to The Lodge Multipurpose Room. Our regular play is every Wednesday at 11:30 am and we are usually finished about 3 pm. Bring a snack to share and "bring a friend, neighbor or significant other" and a smile on your face, or just yourself if that is your thing. We'd love to have you join our group. Mah Jongg Club The Mahjongg Club would like to invite you to join us and enjoy playing this game which dates back hundreds of years. If you are curious about the game come and learn how to play. If you are an experienced player who is new to our community please come and join our group. We play every Monday and Thursday from 1 to 3 pm in the Multipurpose Room.
