Spring is such a lovely reminder of how beautiful change can truly be. Over the past few months there have been a few incidents involving non- residents gaining access to our facilities. In order to keep a tighter grasp on security, please make sure you bring your ID badges when visiting the facilities and use them to gain access. This helps us electronically track who is using our facilities. Additionally, please do not let individuals inside the facilities if you do not know with certainty that they are a resident. We have encountered a few issues with non-residents "tailgating" in with residents. Please don't confront these individuals. Instead, please report them to staff and/or community patrol for enforcement. (Ref. 4.1.6 Rules and Regulations) I'd like to remind the community about the current guest policy. Guest use of facilities is limited to a maximum of four guests per residence and all guests must remain in the company of the host Member at all times. Additionally, guests that are 18 or older, may use the fitness center but must sign in at the front desk, sign a waiver and pay a use fee of $5. (Ref. 4.3 and 7.3 Rules and Regulations) The city of Hemet will be installing street sweeping signage at the entrance points of the community soon. Please be mindful of the below street sweeping schedule and advise your household and guests to not park on the street during those times (second and fourth Fridays - no street parking from 6 am to 6 pm). I am always looking for ways to streamline internal processes and ensure maximum productivity amongst the staff. With that in mind, I have a few requests: • Please report all HOA related concerns directly to the office. If you only report it to a Board/Committee member or neighbor it will delay action. • Whenever possible, please call ahead and make appointments to meet with staff members. • When visiting the reception area, please hold personal conversations away from the desk so other matters of business may continue without disruption. I'd like to update you on a few pending projects. • The Board has approved a contract to replace for the indoor pool decking, re-plaster the indoor pool and perform spot repairs on the outdoor pool decking. As soon as this work is scheduled, we will notify the membership accordingly. Please continue to protect your feet and wear sandals or water shoes in the pool areas until this project is compete. • The Board has approved a contract to replace the furniture and décor in the lobby and adjoining areas. New furnishings and décor are slated for delivery in mid-May. As more information becomes available on these projects, we will inform the community. Thank you and have a great month everyone! COFFEE WITH THE GENERAL MANAGER Tentatively scheduled for April 2 at 9 am in the Broadleaf Room. Please call office to confirm.
