OHSPA CANCELLATION:
OHSPA has canceled the May 2 showing
of the One Night in Memphis Concert.
However, we are working hard to bring
them back in 2021 and I am sure they
will accept our offer!
Our next 2020 concert is Sat., Aug.
15 in Abravanel Hall and it is the
famous Dukes of Dixieland from New
Orleans. They have had a jazz club atop
the Monteleone Hotel in the French
Quarter and then they moved to their
Bourbon Street home. However their
new and current home became the
Steamboat Natchez where they still play
nightly. They weave strands of pop,
gospel, country, and symphonic music,
with authentic New Orleans sounds,
implementing music from Dr. John,
Fats Domino, as well as Louis Prima.
Stay tuned… as of now, tickets
will go on sale on July 14. Mark your
calendars accordingly and please stay
healthy.
