PAGE 8-9 CORRECTION In last month's Hemet Herald, I printed the following statement: "Due to the recent coronavirus moratorium regulating senior facilities, many events may be postponed or canceled this month. Please reach out to your club, group, or class contact for the latest information." The use of the phrase "senior facilities" was a poor choice of words. I know that Four Seasons Hemet is a lovely, 55+ gated community, not a "facility." Perhaps I meant "facilities located in the community…" I know some residents were offended and I sincerely apologize for this phrasing. I blame "pandemic brain." And, while I have your attention, I wish you all a beautiful, safe, and healthy summer filled with music, laughter, and memories made with friends and family (who you can finally hug!). ~ Courtney Taylor, Hemet Herald Publisher The State of California and Riverside County are making changes almost daily regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19). As of this writing, we know that the stay-at-home order is in place, gatherings are restricted, and we are required to wear masks in public. Hopefully by the time you are reading this June issue of the Hemet Herald Magazine, we are receiving more positive news and our lives are moving forward. Our main form of communication with residents at Four Seasons at Hemet is through email. If you are not receiving these emails, please call The Lodge so we can get you connected.
