18 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | July 2020 | Hello ladies, I hope this finds you all well and safe. We have had a very trying time these past three months. Being confined has been a different experience for each of us. We think we will catch up on our cleaning out closets, organizing cluttered spaces, or working in the garden. Reading the books we never seem to get to was a way to escape the reality of things. Some of us who love being around people and keeping active seem to be at a loss. I am sure lots of you ladies are tired of all the cooking and baking. Sorry but weight seems to pile on also. It has been a challenge. Things are starting to loosen up in the community. We are being allowed to have meetings but only 20 people at a time which doesn't fit our group of over 50 members. I spoke with Tracie Rogers about our meetings and she suggested on our meeting day we could have two meeting times one at 2 pm and one at 3:30 pm to accommodate all of us. Unfortunately, we still can't plan any outings as venues are closed to large groups. Pat Hall has an idea that we have a Zoom meeting on our computers or tablets just to feel connected. It sounds like a great idea. If you are interested, please respond to this email and we will set up the date and time to be on our normal meeting date July 27 at 3 pm. I realize some ladies will still feel more comfortable staying at home. I truly understand as I am a person who is comfortable with computers as many of you might be. We welcome any ladies that would like to join us on Zoom or hopefully open at The Lodge by our meeting time. Just let me know and we will add you to our communication. Happy Campers RV Club I hope you are all well as we continue with our social distancing. At this time we have not been able to reschedule our monthly Happy Campers meetings. But with that in mind, Linda Wetter will be meeting with the Pismo trip group at Pismo in September. Our Catalina Spa trip to Desert Hot Springs was canceled due to the Coronavirus and "social distancing" order from the CDC. We are all hopeful that, when things return to normal, we will be able to reschedule this trip. The Happy Campers RV Club trip to Pismo Beach in September is still a "go" at this time. It's a great time of the year to visit the beaches and restaurants in town. "Jeepers" can also ride the dunes which makes for an interesting and fun day. If you are interested in participating in this trip, Linda Wetter is the Wagonmaster. Also, we believe there are a number of "new" RV'ers in the community and we would like to reach out to you to join our club.
