GENERAL MANAGER'S
MESSAGE By Anna Machado
The staff and I have been busy little bees over the past few weeks getting
your gorgeous facilities ready for you to enjoy again! The inside of the Lodge
has been deep cleaned, repainted, new furniture and décor delivered and
stocked with enough hand sanitizer and disinfecting products to reopen the
facilities. You are all in for a real treat when you walk through the doors again!
At the time this article was prepared, we were preparing for a Board Meeting
on June 18. A few highlights on that agenda were:
• Facility Reopening Status
• Construction Defect Litigation Update
• Tax & Audit Proposals
• Allowing non-owner residents to attend Board Meetings and serve on
committees
• Various minor repair proposals
I hope you all received the email I sent out after the meeting with a recap
of what transpired. If not, please let me know. If you do not already receive
the frequent eBlasts that are sent out by staff members, please contact Teri
Collett at the front desk and she will get you enrolled moving forward. These
eBlasts contain the most important and up to date information about Solera
Diamond Valley.
The Board of Directors have reduced the community patrol hours on the
weekend by eliminating the day shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, effective July
1, 2020. Please note, this change will not go into effect until the temporary
24/7 patrol coverage ends upon reopening the facilities.
I'd like to again remind everyone that the monthly assessments are now
$220 per month, effective July 1, 2020. If you are enrolled in ACH with
Seabreeze Management, you do not need to do anything. The amount debited
from your account will be updated automatically. However, if you pay by ANY
other automated payment method you will need to adjust the amount to
reflect the current rate of $220 per month.
Thank you all for your patience over these past few months. This
unprecedented situation has been very hard on everyone and has affected us
all in very different ways. When we can come back together, I look forward to
reconnecting with you all.
