I am so happy to report that the Needle Me group has been able
to resume meeting in the Arts & Crafts Room at The Lodge. We are
limited to 10 people, and I realize that some are not yet comfortable
with social gatherings, but it has been nice seeing the few ladies who
have attended. We were even pleased to welcome two new members.
It's wonderful to see all the beautiful Afghans and other projects
that have been completed over the past few months. I believe there
may be several hand-made Christmas gifts this year. And I would
be remiss if I didn't mention the members of the group who worked
very diligently making masks. I know their efforts have been greatly
appreciated.
Although things have loosened up a bit, I think we may be in for
the 'long-haul.' We need to stay strong, keep safe and do our best to
stay healthy, both physically and mentally. Keep in touch with each
other, continue working on your projects and helping each other.
This is who we are.
I invite others who want to knit, crochet, or do needlework of any
kind with a great group of women to join us in the Arts & Crafts
Room on the first and fourth Friday of the month from 1 to 3 pm. If
you have any questions, please contact Donna Morrell at (951) 385-
3808 or Maggie Fussell at (951) 388-7640.
The pictures below are just a couple of the Afghans made by one of
our new members, Lynda Harlow.
