We hope you are well and staying safe. Unfortunately, we enter another
month of still needing to be cautious and conscientious while living with
the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, the Travel Club Board does not know
when we will be able to safely conduct our monthly meetings or any of our
wonderful day trips.
We do look forward to the day that the pandemic gets under control and
we can resume enjoying ALL of the wonderful activities that makes OHCC
such a great place to live. Since we are not really able to travel now, we are
excited about sharing a beautiful video of one of the jewels of our National
Parks - Yosemite. We hope you enjoy the incredible views as much as we did.

Village Vets
We need your help. The OHCC Village Vet's is sponsoring the 1st
Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company at Camp Pendleton. The unit is
deployed at sea with little or no ability to secure vital supplies.
They have an urgent need for these items:
• Toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, bodywash
• Snack items, electrolyte drink mixes, protein bars
• Shaving cream, razors, laundry detergent pods
• (NO baby wipes, please)
We will be mailing care packages to these American patriots
(beginning Aug. 15), so please get your donations in early! We will
continue to send provisions as long as there are contributions!
If you cannot shop for supplies, please consider offering a
monetary donation with checks payable to "Village Vets." (Please
note on your check memo line: "1st ANGLICO"). Monies will be
used to buy supplies and pay for postage.
Please drop off supplies/checks in open garage or at front door of
Kaye Preston, 5065 Aegina Way.
