The County of San Diego opened up Sportfishing
out of San Diego in mid-June. The Ocean Hills Anglers
already had a reservation for a 1 ½ day trip for July 12
- 14 on the Voyager. Trip sign-ups included four Ocean
Hills Anglers members and 10 guests. The 14 anglers
caught 28 Bluefin Tuna, six Yellowfin Tuna and a couple
of Bonito. Jackpot winner was guest JP Brundage with a
~ 65 lb. BFT. All Anglers on the trip had a great time and
appreciated the hard work by Captain Todd Myer and his
crew. The Ocean Hills Anglers went on another 1 ½ day
fishing trip Aug. 2 - 4, again on the Voyager with Captain Todd Myer
and crew. Trip sign-ups included four Ocean Hills Anglers members
and 11 guests. The Bluefin Tuna bite was still on and the 15 anglers
on this trip caught 30 Bluefin Tuna, 33 Yellowfin Tuna and four
Yellowtail. Jackpot winner was Ocean Hills resident and longtime
OHA Club member Rollin Grider who caught a 40 lb. Bluefin Tuna
shown in the picture. Members and guests all had a great time. The
Ocean Hills Anglers have another one day / overnight trip planned on
the Voyager Sept. 10 and 11. We may have a few openings for this trip.

Trip cost is $276 for OHA members and $281 for guests. This price
includes three meals and the tip.

join club members on any trip as a guest, providing there is space
