Sun Lakers at Canyon Lanes
COVID-19 has changed our lives. Many of us are afraid. We're
asked to stay home, wear a mask, wash our hands often, and social
distance. How can we join a bowling league and socialize with up
to 100 people in one area? These are tough questions we must ask.
What is my risk factor?
The bowling alley is doing all that they can to keep us safe from
this virus. We will wear masks and social distance as much as
possible. The employees are sanitizing everything we may touch.
Many of us are so glad to have the chance to get back into the sport
that we love. This fall-winter league will have 17 teams. If you
have a team and want to bowl please call Teri at (760) 217-9656.
Please be safe and do what you have to do to protect yourself
and your family.
There is no activity while the facilities are closed, but when they reopen… Do you enjoy
playing the billiard game of 8 Ball? If you do, come join us. All Sun Lakes residents are welcome
to practice with us Mondays through Saturdays. We normally draw for partners at noon, then
play to around 2 pm.
There is no cost to join our group. However, if you elect to join a team, there is a $15 competition fee per three-month season. Eight teams
compete every Thursday; four at 9 am and the other four at 1 pm in our Main Clubhouse Billiards Room. For a fun afternoon of friendly
