52 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2020 All Seasons RV Happy fall to all. Hopefully we are enjoying cooler weather and a bit of relief from the virus. Three couples, seen in the photo, made a trip in August to the Fort Bragg area of California. They were able to enjoy Mendocino and the cool beach weather. They made a trip to glass beach, which according to history is where glass washed up to shore as a result of trash being dumped into the ocean. Over many years the current washed the glass to this beach and the result is many small, smooth and colorful pieces of glass decorating the beach. Another side trip was made to the beautiful redwood trees grown in this area. They also experienced the sighting of a large herd of elk having a cool drink before heading back to the high country. It is always a humbling experience to see nature at its finest. It is a pleasure to share some of the adventures enjoyed by our club. Just for the record I also enjoy hunting. I was planning hunting trips and got caught up with that. I did get a chance to go fishing a couple of times last month. I went to Yucaipa Regional park with my son RC and my fishing buddy Dennis Boozer. We went night fishing and caught seven nice catfish. There were over 600 people fishing so we spent most of our time untangling fishing lines. Also went to Fisherman's Retreat and caught two catfish. I got over 10 bites but couldn't hook them. That's what happens when you don't go fishing for five months. I hope that everyone is well and you are protecting yourselves from the dreaded virus. I know the fish are protecting themselves by the picture I have put in this article. Maybe that is the reason we are not catching fish. A mask does protect you from fishers. Tight lines to all my fishing friends and remember you can't catch fish staying home.
