Our October hike destination was Idyllwild
and the Ernie Maxwell Trail (below). Our
newest hiker Brenda Steckler was a first
timer to this area. Ernie Maxwell started the
Idyllwild Town Crier newspaper in the 1900s
and was a delightful historical resident for
many years. Susie Jennings, Walt and Bev
Webster, Barry Morgan, and Steve Edelman
joined in on this highly-favored hike. We
lunched at Tommy's patio. Camera shy was
