| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | DECEMBER 2020 | 9 "Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle All the Way" — these are the sounds that makes us feel JOLLY. We will "Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly" along with myriad of other Christmas decorations that have been strategically placed by our very talented Four Seasons resident volunteers. Each year they seem to out do themselves. Thank you and kudos to you all. "Oh Come all Ye Faithful" to the golf cart parade. Francisco is ringing his jingle bells around thoughts for something warm and sweet. Maybe he can tempt you into having some hot cocoa while you peruse the wonderful display of decorated carts. Any additional warmth added to the cocoa is at your own discretion! It certainly would bring "Joy To The World" if COVID had run its course so that we could return to normal and rejoice as we welcome in the new year! Margie Culton and her committee have some wonderful ideas for New Years Eve but time keeps ticking away leaving less and less time for preparation. Somehow those girls will have something fun for us, you can just plan on it. A bit of Christmas whimsy! Twas the Night Before Christmas the poem, was written by Clement C. Moore in 1823, it took until 1939 for Robert L May to add the ninth reindeer in a small booklet which later became the song Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Besides the eight well known reindeer (Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen) two more were added. In 1949 the song became famous. It was written about Rudolph who was quite shy because of his red nose. Olive got mentioned because she teased Rudolph, hence, I see an opening for a new Christmas carol or she will never become famous like Rudolph. HO HO HO ! May "We, Wish You a Merry Christmas" from Francisco, his staff and this Bistro Committee: Tyrone Horn, Chair, Bobbie Davis, Carol Webber, Donna Morrell, Jan Fifield, Lorina Duncan, and me. May your holidays be filled with happiness, good health and love of our Lord. May we greet the new year with hopefulness, kindness and respect to all. That's me, Patt double"T" Bistro Committee
