Happy Campers RV Club Nine rigs from the Happy Campers RV Club took a short trip to Catalina Spa in Desert Hot Springs for four nights recently. The weather was perfect and the friendship was abundant! The hot spring at the facility was not available to us due to the COVID-19 restrictions, but we managed to have a great time even so! Thank you to Linda Wetter for helping us out with suggesting some activities and restaurants and to Karen Brown for making the reservations for the group dinners — keeping in mind that social distancing was our priority: Casa Blanca was a favorite and Capri Italian Restaurant was also a hit — we all thoroughly enjoyed the meals and camaraderie! The Happy Campers group were able to meet in December and are already looking into making a few trips in 2021 and perhaps making plans for a cross-country (East Coast) trip in 2022 (whew!). Mark your calendars for next Happy Campers meeting on Jan. 9, 2021. It's great to see everyone! Be safe out there — wear your mask. And Happy New Year 2021! Cheers! Pickleball Come join the fun! We play on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays from 7:30 am to noon. We invite anyone that would like to learn how to play Pickleball to come on down the fourth Saturday of the month at 8 am for lessons. We know you will have as much fun as we do. Players of all skill levels welcome!
