| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | FEBRUARY 2021 | 27 The Sun Lakes Playhouse Board has been discussing some wonderful possibilities for the coming days, Although we are still not able to meet with all our members, our future is looking bright! As you know, our regular spring show, That's Entertainment is canceled this year due to the COVID-19 restrictions. However, there are some interesting ideas that are possibilities. We are looking into future acting lessons for those interested in improving their skills, possibly filming performances to be shown on Channel 97 (please let us know if you have been working on dancing, singing, comedy or other acts that are almost performance ready), and other activities for our members. We are a happy group of people who enjoy all types of performances, stagecraft, and behind- the-scenes opportunities. If you are currently a member of the Sun Lakes Playhouse, your 2020 dues are applied to 2021. If you are interested in joining the Sun Lakes Playhouse, dues are $10/ single, $15/couple for the year. We would love to have you join us! Keep up to date with the happenings by tuning into the Sun Lakes Playhouse website. For membership information, contact Martie Steggell at (951) 769-3217. Sun Lakes Follies Happy Valentine's Day Sun Lakers! Since February is a "romantic month," we thought you would like to see Gaylord Spence singing to you. Many here in Sun Lakes look forward to The Follies to watch Gaylord for his unique way of entertaining and beautiful voice. Our monthly general meetings are on hold for now. However, we are all looking forward to enjoying the use of our Clubhouses. We need to practice in order to get the show on the road. The Sun Lakes Follies, hopefully, will be presented to you in September. Just in case: Check with your club contact to confirm meeting place, date, and time. Chorale To maintain our connection as a Chorale family, we meet via Zoom every Monday morning at 9:30 am. Interested residents are welcome to join us. We have room for 100 guests. We join each other in friendship and sing holiday songs together. There is a simple YouTube video called "Joining a Zoom Call for the First Time; Fun and Easy Online Connection." It explains the easy steps to join a Zoom call for the first time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9isp3qPeQ0E.
