| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2021 | 3 General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth, CMCA I have a couple of very important topics to cover. The first topic is the CC&R and Bylaw voting taking place this month. By now you should have received your packet containing the drafts of both documents, a letter and notice from the Board, FAQ's, a ballot, a white envelope and a blue envelope to return to the management office. Your ballot needs to go in the white envelope and the white envelope will go into the blue envelope. This is just like you do for the Annual Meeting voting, only we are using a different colored envelope for this process. It is extremely important to return your vote as soon as possible so the voting process monitored by the Inspector can take place. Next, the Annual Membership Meeting is just a couple of months away! The meeting is tentatively set for Wed., April 28. This is where three Directors will be elected, each for a two year term. The first step in this process has begun. A Notice of Nominating Procedures and Candidate Resumes were sent out to all owners in late January. This information outlines qualifications to be a candidate on the Board of Directors. For any owners who are interested in serving on the Board of Directors and who meet those qualifications, please fill out the resume and return it by the deadline indicated on the form. Please take note that serving on the Board requires a two-year commitment. Whether you choose to volunteer to serve on the Board of Directors or not, it is very important to exercise your rights and vote! So when the notice and ballots are mailed out, please fill out the ballot and return it to The Lodge per the instructions. This envelope will be the green one you've seen before. Maintenance & Violations: Can you believe your community is almost 18 years old? Wow, it doesn't seem like it. As the years go by, our contracted vendors continue to perform necessary preventative maintenance throughout the common areas and The Lodge to maintain our neat and attractive appearance. One of the many things that sets Four Seasons apart from other communities is the commitment made by over a dozen standing and Ad-Hoc committees. • The common area landscaping is regularly monitored by members of the Landscape Committee. • The Lodge, recreation facility, streets and gatehouses are monitored by the Facilities Committee. Each month, the committee members perform a visual inspection of those areas. A report is provided at their monthly meetings listing any items needing correction. The report is forwarded to the management team who then directs the vendors to correct the items accordingly. • Access and traffic issues are overseen by our Access Control Committee. They are also involved with the gates and monitoring of the camera systems. • The Architectural Review Committee is another very important part of this community. They are responsible for working with residents who are improving their front yard landscaping or repainting their homes. As the common areas are regularly inspected, your homes require regular inspections too! Please take a good look at the outside of your home, especially the south facing side. Look at your shutters, trim and garage door for fading, chalkiness or paint peeling. Please take a proactive approach so the administrative costs to copy and mail enforcement letters is kept to a minimum. May all of you have a Happy Valentine's Day. Stay safe!
