Needle Me
Where does the time go? It's hard to believe that it's been a
year since this all began. But now that many of us are able to
get vaccinated, I have high hopes that we will soon be able to
get together and share the projects that we've been working
on.
Last week I had an interesting conversation with a resident
inquiring about the Needle Me group. She's been knitting
since she was a child and has recently been knitting scarves
for our security guards. What a thoughtful and warming
gesture.
I recently saw a story on the Internet about a Scottish
woman, living in Ireland, who knitted a fence to go around
her garden. Now that is one ambitious and talented woman!
I've included a couple of pictures with this article; just look
at the size of those knitting needles!
When we are once again able to meet in person, we would
like to invite anyone who is interested in any type of needle
crafting to please join us in The Lodge Arts & Crafts Room
on the first and fourth Fridays of the month from 1 to 3 pm.
If you have any questions, please contact Bobbie Davis at
