| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MARCH 2021 | 11 AHH, March is here, it's the GREEN month! So, have you got your GREEN shirt out for St. Patrick's day? I always like to blend in and wear green for the 17th but, I'm about as Irish as a German Shepherd! I can't honestly say that I like the looks of GREEN beer either! However, I have a deep affinity for corned beef and cabbage. Normally, I would say I prefer my cabbage in slaw, but GREEN cabbage just goes "styling" when it's snuggled up to juicy slices of corned beef. Lucky us! Francisco will be preparing delicious plates of this Irish specialty diner with full compliments and a tasty dessert! So don't miss out, keep watching for the "Blast's" notice of this special meal for that Wednesday. You should order and pay ahead as usual. Remember, you will have already lost an hour of sleep-time, three days prior to then because the time changed back, so don't lose out on this great deal too! I hope you all took advantage of the Valentine's Day menu and enjoyed it with your special someone or took time to reminiscence about other wonderful Valentine days and experiences of the past. We will enjoy more GREENery soon with the first day of spring arriving on the 20th, when Mother Nature takes on the big job of inspiring plants to awaken and grow in preparation of Palm Sunday on the 28th and of Glorious Easter, which arrives early in April this year. We are so lucky to NOT be blanketed in snow or in freezing temperatures, so please note, the heat lamps are working wonders for eating on the patio. Just grab a jacket and be adventurous. Sort of live on the wild side; it may be coolish, but you're not stuck in the house either. (Remember the dreaded summer heat?) Part of my prayers were answered, when in February the Bistro received permission to open again for outdoor dining and I have humongous hopes that indoor dining, even if limited, will have become a reality by March! Wear some GREEN, be intrepid, stay warm, keep well and enjoy life, just as it comes to you, each day! That's me, Patt double "T" Bistro Committee
